Rosario Inaugurates New Costa Nueva Promenade

The city of Rosario, Santa Fe, inaugurated Costa Nueva, a new promenade along the Parana River. This event is part of the city's Tricentenary celebrations. The new promenade spans one kilometer between La Fluvial and Parque Español. The project includes a new 1,000-meter-long riverfront, 1,500 square meters of permeable surface, 15 planters with 4,000 native plants, and 700 square meters of lawn. The project was designed by the Rosario Municipality's planning team and executed as part of the Tricentenary works announced with Santa Fe Governor Maximiliano Pullaro. The renovated area connects cultural spaces such as Rosario 300, the Cultural Fruit Market, the Municipal School of Urban Arts, the Tecnoteca, Galpón 11, and Galpón de la Música, creating a cultural corridor along the Parana. During the inauguration, there was a show with parachutists descending with the Argentine flag, a flashmob by Teatro El Círculo performing 'Aurora', the 'Flag Song', and the 'Hymn to Rosario', a light show on 'El Aura', and a musical performance by DJ Edgardo Mancinelli. The project aims to redevelop the area by creating a new accessible pedestrian walkway with benches and bike racks, and transforming an old parking lot into an urban landmark for cultural activities, concerts, and celebrations.
